Delinquency Prevention Program
Funded by the United Way of McHenry County, this program provides small group facilitation to elementary, middle school, and junior high children.
Trained Prevention Specialists work with school personnel to tailor groups that meet the needs of the school’s population. Groups are available during and after school. Topics most requested by schools have included:
- Bullying and Cyber Bullying
- Protective Behaviors
- Making and Keeping Friends
- Study Skills/Organization
- Anger Management
- Conflict Resolution
- Tolerance and Diversity
- For high schools, Teen Age Mothers’ Initiative support and education groups
